Tony Gill appointed as new Managing Director for Altered Images

David Johnson steps aside to focus on Hiring Post business but continues to support Altered Images as Chairman of the Board

15th October 2018 – Tony Gill has been appointed the new Managing Director of Altered Images, taking over the position from David Johnson. David will be focusing on business at sister company, Hiring Post. Tony has been working at Altered Images for the past four years and has been instrumental in many of the company’s largest and most complex projects. He will take over this role with immediate effect.

The time has come for me to pass my Managing Director role to my appointed successor, Tony Gill,” explains David Johnson. “Tony has a technical background along with a wealth of industry experience, plus is highly-respected by our staff and clients alike. I will be continuing to support the Altered Images board in the background but will be focusing on my role as Managing Director at The Hiring Post, helping the company’s continued growth.

Most recently, Tony was managing his own consultancy and, before that, he was a Director managing a large team at A+E Networks. A+E Networks operates History, Lifetime and other channels. Here, Tony had responsibility for post-production, re-versioning of programming and distribution on an international level. “I’m looking forward to building on the good reputation that Altered Images has with its customers, with many relationships going back several years, particularly in the education market,” Tony explains. “With a wealth of new products from our suppliers released at the recent IBC show too, it looks to be a promising year ahead!
