Avid – Updates Available to Artist IO Drivers and Firmware

Artist | DNxIV and DNxIP Driver and Firmware Update

The drivers and firmware for the Artist | DNxIV and DNxIP have been updated to v15.5. Installers were updated in My Avid Accounts and the Download Center on November 21. This update includes new features, most notably support for HDR transfer function output to client monitor, ensuring that the monitor is set to the proper color space, and the ability to adjust the fan speed to affect noise and device heat.

This update also includes a number of bug fixes and performance improvements as follows:

•  Media Composer crashes on exit with plugin installed & no AJA device attached
• HDMI input routing gets messed up when SDI inputs source changes to RGB from YUV
• HDMI Input doesn’t detect 4K47.95p & 4K48p
• Swapping HDMI cables from breakout box to DNxIV cause HDMI input to change to DVI
• Bootcamp: hot plug of AJA devices causes hard crash on Macs running Windows 10
• IP 2110: Add ANC (CC) support on SDI output

The drivers and firmware for the Artist | DNxIQ and DNxID have been updated to v11.4.1. Installers were updated in My Avid Accounts and the Download Center on November 21. This update includes new features, most notably support for HDR transfer function output to client monitor, ensuring that the monitor is set to the proper color space. This update also includes a number of stability and performance improvements.
