At last year’s IBC Convention, Cache-A Corporation was one of the first companies to demonstrate the new LTFS (Linear Tape Film System) format in product form. This year at IBC 2011, all of Cache-A’s LTO-5 based products include LTFS capability, including the company’s flagship product, the award-winning Pro-Cache5, the new high-performance Power-Cache and the quiet, desktop Prime-Cache5. Compact Blend of LTO-5 Tape Drives, 8TB RAID and 10GbE Technologies for Faster Archiving, Transfers

Making its world debut at IBC 2011, Cache- A Corporation’s new high-performance Power-Cache Archive Server combines Cache- A’s noted appliance functionality with more disk speed and better throughput. Power- Cache combines a high-performance blend of LTO-5 tape drives, 8 TB of RAID and 10Gb Ethernet technologies to provide digital media professionals with faster archive and retrieval transfers as well as greater flexibility for staging content, making duplicate tape copies and working with Cache-A Library and Expansion units.
