AJA and Avid

AJA is pleased to announce that the current line of KONA products, the new Thunderbolt-enabled Io XT, and the Io Express will be supporting the recently announced Avid Media Composer® 6.0, Avid NewsCutter® 10.0 and Avid Symphony® 6.0 software with AJA v10 driver software and AJA Open I/O Plug-ins due to ship at the same time as the Avid Software updates. The new v10 driver software for Mac and PC, and AJA Open I/O Plug-ins, will be available at www.aja.com on November 15th, the same day Avid ships Media Composer 6.0! Now you can support all major post-production workflows with one AJA Edit product, including software from Apple, Adobe, Avid, Autodesk, Media 100, and many more!

AJA has worked closely with Avid for many years, providing I/O solutions for DS® with OEM KONA and more recently for Media Composer 5.5 with Io Express. We are extremely proud to now also support Media Composer, Symphony, and NewsCutter with KONA, Io Express, and Io XT!
